Keep an eye out for pedestrians, especially on Gulf Drive. If you’re concerned, use the free island trolley to reach almost any of these beaches. This is by far the BEST thing about Anna Maria Island. It’s impossible to feel any stress while watching the sunset. And some of the cloudiest days have the most beautiful sunsets, so make sure to swing by the beach every night.
